Damn, it always gets larger and bigger, the next issue will probably be something like a 150 page juggernaut eheh. I can imagine how much he wastes on stamps by sending it overseas. However, back on the product: Liquid continues its single-minded crusade against all melodies and trends with utter precision, unerringly drenching the blazon of Death Metal with the blood of feminine Power Metal enemies. Liquid of Life fucking rules. Some ads have been glued here and there in the relative interviews but the style remains once again the same, the one I have grown to love, simplicistic, thick and dense. Reviews come in hundreds, not only newer stuff but some old recordings as well, and it’s something I really like to read (an idea I have personally stolen from the guy as well, it helps you have a broader vision of what’s going on in the grim universe). No ancient stuff is reviewed (I mean pre-93, my personal favourite period), these are probably products the guy gets by tape trading or from used catalogues, on this topic I would personally recommend to have a look back (but not too far in the past), to savor this great music to the fullest. Of course I agree vehemently with the author in claiming that Death Metal is the ULTIMATE style of musick, and it deserves all the passion he gives to it. Interviews span several pages, make you stick to the sheets for hours, and you’ll need some holidays from your job to read it all in one week, really, there are hundred of addresses to copy and use here. This issue ends with a funny, confused interview with this curious character that seems as if sprung out of a comic eheh, if you go to some concerts, you have met it as well. Christophe is one of the few souls as dedicated as Olivier. Once you finished the issue, you can stick it to your wall, cuz the last page is a nice calendar. Of year 2000 of course. Ah.
